Douglas v. Tele-Response Center, Inc. class action PDF Print E-mail

As of November 5, 2011, Pleasants Law Firm, PLLC is no longer accepting new clients.  Mr. Wolfingbarger has accepted a position of employment in Washington DC and is in the final stages of winding down his civil practice in West Virginia.

If you are a member of the class of plaintiffs in the class action suit currently pending in the Brooke County Circuit Court that is styled Kace Douglas, et al. v. Tele-Response Center, Inc. d/b/a 121 Direct Response [Civil Action No. 10-C-33(G)], please be advised that Mr. Wolfingbarger is continuing to work with his co-counsel, John Porco, in an effort to successfully resolve that dispute.

Although the Circuit Court granted summary judgment to the class members in that case, Tele-Response Center, Inc. has filed an appeal of that decision with the West Virginia Supreme Court.  Until that appeal is resolved or the parties reach a voluntary settlement of their dispute, the class-action case will remain pending and no monies will be paid to any of the class members.
